TURNER — SAD 52 has awarded Tripp Middle School teacher Jolene Randall the Patience Norman Prize for Teacher Excellence for 2010. The announcement and presentation were made at a school assembly on Dec. 22.
Randall is the Literacy Lab teacher and serves as an adviser for students on the Wildcat team at the school. Colleagues describe Randall as a teacher who gives each of her students 100 percent of her attention and commitment.
The Patience Norman Prize for Teacher Excellence is awarded annually to a teacher in SAD 52 with tenure of at leave five years. The award includes a $5000 cash prize.
