DIXFIELD — The following incidents were handled recently by the Dixfield Police Department.
Vandalism
Glen Knox, 26, of Coolidge Road, Dixfield, charged with criminal mischief at 10 a.m., Jan. 28. He is accused of using a tool to cause about $200 damage to a late 1990s Nissan Altima that was parked in his driveway. The incident is under investigation and may result in further charges. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 8.
Marijuana possession
Matthew Chrissikos, 27, Pine Street, Dixfield, charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana, at 10:15 p.m., Jan. 29, in front of the Dixfield Police Department on Route 2. The incident took place during the police department’s final Bureau of Public Safety grant-funded roadblock program. Chrissikos is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.
