WINSLOW — Senior forward Sam Cloutier netted a pair of goals, including the first tally of the contest, to lead Lewiston to a 7-0 shutout victory over Messalonskee in boys’ ice hockey action Thursday.

The Blue Devils (12-0-1) executed a balanced offense, scoring two goals in each of the first two periods, and three points in the final frame. Senior forward Colt Steele pitched in with a goal and two assists for Lewiston.

Goalie Nate Delguidice stopped an impressive 50 shots on goal for the Eagles, while Cam Poussard earned the win in net for Lewiston with six saves.

Poland/Gray-NG 11, Windham 0

GRAY — Ryan Devala and Adam Healey both registered hat tricks Thursday to lead Poland/Gray-New Gloucester to a 11-0 romp over Windham/Sacopee Valley.

The Patriotic Knights (10-4-1) jumped out to a 5-0 advantage in the first period and were never remotely challenged. Devin Goyette, Evan Baggs, Nevin Rand, Kolby Arnold and Zack Knapp also tallied for Poland/GNG.

Matt Ouellette and Jake Simard split time between the pipes, combining for 12 saves in the contest. Curtis Merrill turned aside 35 shots in net for Windham/Sacopee Valley.

St. Dom’s 3, Waterville 3

WATERVILLE — Dakota Keene found the net with 5:57 left in the third period to give St. Dom’s a 3-3 tie against Waterville.

Kyle Holtet and Alex Parker also tallied for the Saints (9-3-1) to complete the scoring. St. Dom’s led 2-1 after the first before watching the Panthers tie things up in the second frame. The Saints went scoreless in the second frame as the offense struggled.

Kyle Bishop, Tim Locke and Matt Lee all tallied for Waterville. Grant Carrier made 26 saves for St. Dom’s, while Cody Thibodeau turned aside 22 shots for Waterville.

Gould 53, Hyde 32

BETHEL — After jumping out to a seven-point advantage in the first quarter, Gould hustled to a 53-32 victory over Hyde.

Will Bunge led Gould (6-7) with 18 points, while Taylor Peck-Moad chipped in with 10 points.

Hyde (0-8) was paced by Wilson MacMillan with 15 points, including three from beyond the arc. Tobias Weymar also contributed with 8 points.

Leavitt 52, Waterville 38

WATERVILLE — Leavitt went on a 16-2 run in the second quarter and went on to post a 52-38 victory over Waterville.

Jordan Hersom led the mighty Hornets (12-3) with 17 points and 21 rebounds, while Tyler Allen tallied 11 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Tim Dow also contributed with nine points.

The Panthers (3-12) were led by Max Brown with 10 points.

Falmouth 65, Poland 46

POLAND — Falmouth erupted for 21 points in the third quarter and raced away to a 65-46 rout over Poland.

Matt Kingry led Falmouth (7-7) with a game-high 23 points, highlighted by four 3-pointers. Jack Cooleen chipped in with 15 points, while Matt Packard added 13.

The Knights (6-8) were led by Jake Littlefield with a solid 18-point effort, while Jonah Farrington tallied 11 and Logan Nichols added nine.

Gardiner 58, Oak Hill 33

WALES — Junior forward Aaron Toman scored a game-high 21 points to lead Gardiner to a 58-33 victory over Oak Hill.

The Raiders (3-12) held a brief one-point lead at the end of the first quarter. Senior guard Cam Morin scored a team-high 14 points, while sophomore guard Trever Samson chipped in with 11 points.

The Tigers (11-3) unleashed in the fourth quarter as Toman netted 13 of his 21 points in the frame. Gardiner put the game away with a 25-9 run.

Jay 69, Madison 51

JAY — Senior center Kyle Storer posted a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead Jay to a 69-51 victory over Madison.

The Bulldogs (4-11) came out biting, scoring the first six points of the contest. Senior forward Cody Briggs notched a game-high 24 points.

But, the Tigers (8-7) pounced back in the middle two frames, capitalizing on the boards. Junior forward Nate Shink contributed a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds for Jay.
