NEW VINEYARD — Nancy J. Ross, 59, passed away after a courageous battle with lymphoma, at her residence in New Vineyard, Feb. 4.

She was born in Farmington, Aug. 23, 1951, daughter of Howard and M. Louise Pinkham. She worked as a personal care assistant at Helping Hands for three years and at Northland Cash. She enjoyed bingo, shopping and family get-togethers and collected teddy bears. Nancy liked taking vacation trips with the family. She was known for her good cooking, especially her biscuits. She never had a day without a smile and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her children, Tina Ross of New Vineyard; her stepchildren, John Ross of Alabama, and Robert Ross and Bonnie Allen, both of Wilton; sisters, Elaine Haines of Avon, Janice Washington and husband, Tubby, of Rangeley and Marie McCarthy and husband, Wayne, of New Sharon; several stepgrandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as friends, Pat, Cecile and Crystal Lowell, “three hoodlums” Craig Haines, Matthew Ross and Ethan Ross.

She was predeceased by both parents; her husband, Stanley Ross; sisters, Fran Harding and Gloria Pinkham; and stepson, Dale Ross.
