LISBON — The 18th annual World’s Greatest Sleigh Rides, a benefit fundraiser, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, in a large field off Route 125 (upper Main Street) in Lisbon Falls.

Since its inception, the popular winter event has raised $43,550 for the Pine Tree Society for Crippled Children and Adults. Donations for the sleigh rides are $4 for adults and $3 for children.

The event is sponsored by the Pejepscot Snow-Chiefs Snowmobile Club and the Farmers Draft Horse, Mule and Pony Club.

There will be a variety of food booths available, with the highlight being the dozens of homemade doughnuts made by Steve, Louise and Gordon Curtis. For more information, contact Gordon Curtis at 353-2200.
