AUBURN — Ryan Davala and Kolby Arnold scored three goals apiece Wednesday to spark Poland/Gray-NG to a 9-2 victory over Cony in a regular-season hockey game.
Davala and Arnold bookended a four-goal spurt in a span of 3:11 in the first period to give the Patriotic Knights (12–4-1) the upperhand early.
Adam Healy added two goals and two assists and Sam Mayer had a goal and three assists. Evan Baggs added three assists, while Davala, Caleb Brigham and Evan Coulombe had two apiece.
Dylan Cheevers and Austin Davis scored for Cony (3-12-4)in the second period.
Poland/Gray-New Gloucester outshot the Rams 38-21. Matt Ouellette stopped 19 shots in goal for the Patriotic Knights. Cony goalie Matt Swan was credited with 29 saves.
