AUBURN — Dorothee D. Therriault, 72, of Kensington Terrace, Lewiston, died Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.
She was born in Lewiston, July 6, 1938, the daughter of Raoul F. and Jeannette B. (Morin) Therriault. She attended Lewiston schools and later went to work for Shapiro Shoe for 15 years. She then went to work for General Electric for 27 years, where she retired in 2000.
She was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Ladies of St. Anne.
Dorothee enjoyed knitting, sewing and loved to go to the family camp at Taylor Pond, where she enjoyed being with her family for BBQ’s and family outings.
She is survived by her mother, Jeannette Therriault of Lewiston; her sister, Claire Allard and husband, Arthur, of Lewiston; her brothers, Raymond Therriault and wife, Claire, of Lewiston, Richard Therriault and wife, Claudette, of Sabattus and Marcel Therriault and wife, Claire, of Lisbon; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father; and her brother, Robert Therriault.
The family would like to thank the staff of Montello Manor and also the staff at Androscoggin Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided for Dorothee.
