The Greene Dragons Snowmobile Club hosted the event to encourage kids and their families to get outside during the winter. “We would like the kids to know that there is more about winter than sitting in front of a video game,” club treasurer Tony Bussiere said. The event featured games, snowshoe races, an ice fishing derby, a cookout and prizes for every child, club member Angie Danforth said. The club has about 40 members and maintains 32 miles of snowmobile trails.
