GREENWOOD — The final hike of the Mahoosuc Land Trust’s 2011 Winter Hiking Series starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19.
The moderate snowshoe event will track through Maggie’s Nature Park bordering South Pond in Greenwood and ascend Peaked Mountain.
Participants are asked to register prior to the hike by calling 824-3806, which can also be called for any changes due to inclement weather.
People are advised to bring a lunch or snack and water and meet in the parking area on Greenwood Road. Winter gear and hiking poles are recommended.
Previous hikes included Mt. Ingalls in Shelburne, N.H., in January, and Rumford Whitecap last month.
