LEWISTON — St. Mary’s Health System will hold its Dance in Time fundraiser on Saturday, March 19 at the Royal Oak Room.

Constructed in 1916, the Royal Oak Room is one of Lewiston’s historic landmarks. It served as the general waiting room in the Lewiston station for the Maine Central Railroad for hundreds of passengers as they traveled to and from Quebec, Boston, New York and points beyond.

Dance in Time begins at 6 p.m. with the social hour, featuring champagne, a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres; this is followed by dinner and a live auction. The Bob Charest Band will play sophisticated jazz, Motown, R&B, 1980s classics and contemporary tunes.

Don’t miss this opportunity to dress up in period attire if desired, see the renovated grand ballroom at the Lewiston railroad station and dance the night away.

Tickets are $100 per person and $700 for a table of eight. Proceeds will benefit St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center to support our operating room instrumentation and equipment needs.
