FRYEBURG — The 21st annual National Belted Galloway and Pride of the Pines Hereford Sale and Youth Show will be held April 28 to May 1 at the Fryeburg Fair Grounds.

It is hosted by the New England Galloway Group and Fryeburg Youth Show.

There are 41 Belted Galloway lots and six Hereford lots selling.

The youth show sign-ups start Thursday and commercial exhibitors will also set up on Thursday.

On Friday, the Fryeburg Lions Club booth and the commercial exhibitors will open, showmanship contests are at 10 a.m., Jackpot Steer Show at 3:30 p.m., potluck dinner and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the auction go to the Yyouth show. Dinner is $11 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under. Reserve dinner tickets from Christine Adams at 696-3812 before April 25.

On Saturday, the Commercial Heifer Show will be at 9 a.m. The Youth Steer Show & Showmanship Contest (for non-owned) Educational Seminar as well as the National Belted Galloway and Pride of the Pines Hereford Sale will be at 1 p.m., and the Jackpot Heifer Show will be at 5:30 p.m.

On Sunday, the Youth Heifer Show will take place at 8:30 a.m.

Admission is free.
