MONMOUTH — The Free Movie Night series will continue at Cumston Hall with The Marx Brothers’ “Room Service” at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29.
The classicfilm stars Groucho, Chico and Harpo. A penniless theatrical producer must outwit the hotel efficiency expert trying to evict him from his room, while securing a mysterious backer for his new play. Lucille Ball and Ann Miller co-star.
A collaboration of The Theater At Monmouth and Cumston Public Library, the series offers entertainment for the whole family.
All movies in the series will be shown in the library lower level in Cumston Hall.
Snacks will be provided, with popcorn popped on-site in a vintage-style popcorn cart.
Admission is free, with a suggested $5 donation to help cover the cost of snacks for everyone. For more information, visit www.theateratmonmouth.org.
RSVP if you can by calling 933-9999 or emailing boxoffice@theateratmonmouth.org so theater people will know how much popcorn to make. If you can’t RSVP, you are still welcome to attend.
