Arrests/Charges:

April 17 at 7:27 p.m.: John Hansen, 24, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Waldo Street on a charge of violation of bail and violation protection order. Hansen, was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 17 at 7:27 p.m.: Valerie King, 22, of Rumford was arrested by act. Cpl. Donald Miller on Waldo Street on a charge of hindering apprehension. King posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 17 at 8:12 p.m.: George Lebqurdais, 45, of Lewiston was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Canal Street on a charge of criminal trespass. Lebqurdais was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 19 at 1:40 p.m.: Michael Thomas, 41, of Wilton was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Maine Avenue on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license. Thomas was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 19 at 1:40 p.m.: John Ricker, 77, of Andover was charged by Patrolman Joseph Sage with operating a motor vehicle without a license (expired more than 90 days) on Route 108. Ricker is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 20 at 3:20 p.m.: Robert Lemieux, 56, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld with possession of marijuana and passenger with an open alcohol container on Lincoln Avenue. Lemieux is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 20 at 3:20 p.m.: Robert Lemieux, 56, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. James Bernard on Lincoln Avenue with possession of schedule W drug Class C. Lemieux is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court in Paris on June 17.

April 21 at 10:45 a.m.: 11-year-old Rumford juvenile was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Hancock Street with assault. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 21 at 8:52 p.m.: 13-year-old Rumford juvenile was charged by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Lochness Road with burglary and criminal mischief. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 22 at 11:35 a.m.: Charles Gannon, 40, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Somerset Street on a warrant for failure to pay fines for operating after suspension. Gannon was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

April 22 at 12:10 p.m.: Michael Gould, 21, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on River Street with violation of bail. Gould is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

April 22 at 7:44 p.m.: Eddie Saunders, 44, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Maine Avenue on a warrant for failure to pay fines for violation protection order, operating without a license and operating after suspension. Saunders was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

April 22 at 7:58 p.m.: Mark Porter, 50, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Falmouth Street on a Warrant for Failure to Pay Fines for Theft and Misuse of Identification. Porter was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

April 23 at 2:50 a.m.: Harold Reeve, 35, Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Spruce Street on a charge of domestic violence terrorizing. Reeve posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 22 at 7:58 p.m.: Christopher Beaulieu, 35, of Bethel was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 2 on a warrant for failure to pay fines for operating without a license and domestic violence assault. Beaulieu was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

April 23at 10:20 p.m.: Erik Matthews, 24, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on River Street on a charge of violation of bail. Matthews was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

April 24 at 12:46 p.m.: Dean Arsenault, 24, of Roxbury was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on S. Rumford Road on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Arsenault is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

Assault

April 18 at 5:40 a.m.: Cpl. Lawrence Winson investigated an assault at Hosmer Field during a lacrosse game. Charges are pending.

April 23 at 5:40 p.m.: Sgt. James Bernard investigated an assault on Hancock Street. The victim refused to press charges.

Criminal Mischief

April 22 at 4:25 p.m.: Sgt. Traceu Higley investigated damage to both sides of a red pickup parked on Congress Street. It is believed the damage occurred after a civil court hearing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Police Department. Estimated damage $1,000.

Theft

April 23 at 4:55 p.m.: Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating a theft of a knife on Falmouth Street.

Wanted

Sara Roberts, 32, of Rumford is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant fore failure to appear for a bail violation and operating after suspension. The warrant is dated March 17, 2011.
