Bethel firefighters responded to a burning truck on the railroad tracks in Bethel Tuesday morning. The 2006 Ford F250, modified to ride the rails, caught fire near the intersection of Main Street and Railroad Street. One of two workers noticed the fire and went to the rescue barn to report it. Neither person was hurt. Because the truck contained hydraulic fluid and fuel, there was fear the truck would explode. The incident is under investigation.
