BETHEL/FRYEBURG — Walk-4-Polio will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, at Davis Park, Bethel, and from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Fryeburg.

Rummage sale

DIXFIELD — There will be a rummage sale at the Dixfield Congregational Church from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7. A benefactor has donated a collection of porcelain dolls to the church which will be available for sale on that day. Also a bake sale will be held with a variety of baked goods for Mother’s Day, from quiches to cupcakes. Additionally, there are a limited number of tables for rent for $10. Call 597-2955.

Chinese auction

DIXFIELD — A Chinese auction will be held on Saturday, May 7, at King Hiram Lodge, Route 2. Doors open at 10 a.m. The drawing will be at 1 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.

Over 100 items will be raffled. There will be a $1 table and a 50/50. The lunch counter will be open. Proceeds will benefit Bob Packard of Peru who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Pork supper

RUMFORD — There will be a roast pork supper at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at St. Athanasius & St. John’s Parish Hall. The adult price will be $8, and children under 12 will be $4. Take-out orders will be available.
