FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital has hired Robin Locke, MD, a medical oncologist/hematologist, as part of its cancer care team.
Locke sees patients in Farmington every Tuesday. She joins cancer care providers Dr. Andrew Hertler, Dr. Richard Krull and Physician Assistant Jamie Bell in staffing the oncology department. All are also affiliated with the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.
Locke earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed residency training in internal medicine at Jacobi Medical Center and Jack D. Weiler Hospital. Locke later completed a clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology at Montefiore Medical Center. All aforementioned facilities are located in the Bronx, N.Y.
Locke is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board-eligible for certification with a specialty certification in medical oncology and hematology.
