Arrests/summonses
May 1 at 12:08 a.m.: Jill Schnorr, 18, of Dixfield was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street on a charge of operating under the influence. Schnorr, who was also charged with operating beyond license restrictions and illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile, posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.
May 1 at 12:16 a.m.: Thomas Hines, 21, of Peru was charged by Paatrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street with indecent exposure. Hines posted $600 unsecured bail is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.
May 1 at 5:58 p.m.: Christopher Upton, 34, Rumford, was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Falmouth Street on a charge of criminal trespass. Upton was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.
Burglary
April 29 at 7:06 a.m.: Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating a burglary of a Hancock Street business.
Theft
April 25 at 5 p.m.: Sgt. Doug Maifeld investigated the theft of a cellphone on Congress Street. He recovered the phone and the victim refused to press charges.
April 28 at 10:16 a.m.: Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated the theft of a school laptop computer on Rumford Avenue. Estimated loss: $300.
April 30 at 2 p.m.: Sgt. Doug Maifeld investigated the theft of a purse with $140 in cash on Waldo Street. Estimated loss: $165.
Wanted
Dana Mckeen, 25, of Canton/Rumford area is wanted on two Rumford District Court warrants charging failure to pay fines on domestic violence assault and operating after suspension. The warrants are dated March 21, 2011.
