AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11 at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. Bingo will be played after the meeting and a bag lunch.

Past president Virginia Houston presided at the last meeting of Robin Dow Senior Citizens on April 27 in the absence of President Helen McGuire, with 31 members present. Eldora Collins and Mabel Goding were welcomed as new members. Led by Shirley Hawkins, in the absence of Chaplain Pat Donohue, a moment of silence was observed in memory of Viola Dumais, who passed away April 19.

It was reported President Helen McGuire was ill at home, being recently discharged from the hospital. Chuck Berube is a patient at Russell Park Manor, recovering from a three-way bypass from heart surgery, and Theresa Greenleaf is confined to her home.

Lucien Marcoux, in the absence of trip chairperson Evelyn Sawin, reported there are only two seats remaining to be filled on the June 24 trip to Foster’s Clam/Lobster trip in York, costing $55, that includes transportation, dinner and bingo on the bus. Birthdays for April were acknowledged. Attendance prizes winners were Mildred Brainerd and George Herrick Sr.; pot of gold, Shirley Hawkins, Ellie Rolerson, and Phil Neilsen; and mystery prize winners were Midge Demers and Alwin Strout.
