LEWISTON — Dorothy Pearl Asselin, 85, of 98 Wood St., died Monday, May 9, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a three day stay.
She was born in New Germany, Nova Scotia, Jan. 1, 1926. She was educated in Auburn schools.
Mrs. Asselin was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and was married to Joseph A.E. Asselin, who died May 23, 1997. She worked in the laundry department at Snow White Laundry and Montello Manor Nursing Home.
Her interest included crossword puzzles, word search, horse racing and enjoyed her little papillion dog “Little Terror.”
She is survived by her son, Daniel R. Asselin and his wife, Ginna Eastman, of Lewiston; grandson, Scott Dube and friend, Laura Ames; granddaughter, Lisa Ranger and her husband, Gary; great-grandchildren, Tommy Carter and friend, Melissa Larrabee and Clarence Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
