FREEPORT — Nick Labbe hit two home runs Thursday, powering Poland past Freeport, 11-2, in WMC baseball.

Labbe and Kaleb Bridgham (3-for-4) each drove in three runs for the Knights (2-8). Dillon Douglass worked into the sixth inning to pick up his second win of teh spring, allowing three hits and striking out six.

Pat Summers also had three hits, while Connor King cracked a double and a single and drove in two for Poland. Jared Knighton delivered a double for the Falcons (1-7).

St. Dom’s 22, Hall-Dale 0
AUBURN — Jimmy Therriault scattered three hits, struck out nine and walked none as St. Dom’s cruised to a 22-0 rout over Hall-Dale in KVAC baseball action Thursday.

Joe Bryant led the mighty Saints (7-0) with three hits and four RBIs. Kurt Johnson also contributed with three hits, while Drew Gosselin, Zack Johnson and Alex Parker all belted two hits in a well-balanced attack.

Alex McPherson led the Bulldogs (3-5) with a double, while starter Nick Sinclair was tagged with the loss.

Wiscasset 9, Monmouth 2
MONMOUTH — Mason Brewer gave up four hits and drew ample run support Thursday as Wiscasset hustled to a 9-2 victory over Monmouth in a MVC baseball matchup. 

Ryan Segovia led Wiscasset (6-2) with two hits and four RBIs, the game’s only repeat hitter.

The Mustangs (6-2) received an RBI double from Brandon Goff in the first inning, while reliever DJ McHugh was on the hill when Wiscasset’s bats were hot and took the loss.
