AUBURN — Kenneth Guy Harris, 80, of Ridge Road, Lisbon Falls, died Friday, May 13, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
He was born in West Bath, June 3, 1930, a son of the late Kenneth J. and Ruth A. (Parker) Harris. He was educated in Lisbon and attended Lisbon High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Ken married the former Arlene Jones on June 30, 1951. He owned and operated Ken’s Auto Sales for many years.
Ken enjoyed antique automobiles and going to antique automobile shows. He also enjoyed eating out, being with his family and Sunday rides with his wife, Arlene.
Ken leaves his wife of almost 60 years, Arlene of Lisbon Falls; two sons; James Harris and his wife, Kathy, of Lisbon Falls and David Harris and his wife, Anita, of Chelsea; a sister, Virginia Starbird of Leeds; a brother, Richard Olum and his wife, Carol, of Farmingdale; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a special uncle, Walter Parker and his wife, Blanche, of Lisbon Falls.
