Amanda Desjardins
WINTHROP — Announcement is made of the engagement of Amanda M. Desjardins and Eric J. Grant, both of Winthrop.
Miss Desjardins is the daughter of Tanya Desjardins of Winthrop and James Desjardins of Sabattus. She is a 2001 graduate of Winthrop High School and a 2006 graduate of Central Maine Community College. She currently works as an orthopaedic tech at Augusta Orthopaedic Associates.
Mr. Grant is the son of Kim and Valerie Grant of Monmouth. He is a 2002 graduate of Monmouth Academy and he currently works as a carpenter for Senior Spec Construction.
An Oct. 1 wedding is planned in Augusta.
