OXFORD —The American-Canadian Tour event at Oxford Plains Speedway scheduled for Sunday has been postponed until Saturday, June 4 due to inclement weather.
“The forecast is for a 100 percent chance of rain,” OPS owner Bill Ryan said. “We know we have teams and fans traveling great distances for this event, and we did not want them to do it in vain.”
It was scheduled to be Oxford’s season-opening event. The track now will kick off its season next Saturday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m.
