TUCSON, Ariz. — Joseph Robert Rogers Jr., 47, died unexpectedly on May 13, in Tucson, Ariz.

He was born on Sept. 3, 1963, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Joe and parents lived in New Gloucester for many years. He graduated from Lewiston High School, where he played football. He relocated to Arizona after graduation, where he established and operated his firm, Concrete Creations, Inc. Joe was an active member and volunteer with his church in Tucson.

As a performing singer/songwriter, Joe entertained people from all walks of life with his musical abilities, living in Nashville for a time promoting this interest. He was nearing completion of an album of his songs at the time of his death, which hopefully will be released in the near future.

Joe was predeceased by his mother, Judy Lynne Hatcher Rogers and survived by his father, Joseph R. Rogers Sr.; four daughters, Savannah Rogers Farmer, Brianna, Kaylee Jean and Maggie Jo, all of Tucson; also cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and extended family, who will miss him greatly.
