AUBURN — Zada L. Hodsdon, 63, of 46 Hillsdale St., Auburn died at home on Wednesday, May 18, with her family and dog by her side.
She was born March 7, 1948, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Bernadine Henricksen. She married Randy P. Hodsdon on Aug. 18, 1967. Zada enjoyed 34 years of marriage with her husband before his passing in 2002.
Favorite times were spent reading, bowling and playing cards and cribbage with her friends and the ladies at Post 150, where she was a member of the ladies auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, William and fiance, Leah Merrill, of Auburn; son, Brandon of Clinton, Mass.; daughter, Candace and husband, Ryan Davis, of Pennsylvania; brothers, David and Douglas Koepp; and grandchildren, Lauren, Josh, Faith, Isaac and Benjamin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Randy Hodsdon; mother, Bernadine Henricksen; father, Marvin Henricksen; and brothers, Darwin Koepp and Donnie Henricksen.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the hospice team at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
