FARMINGTON — A Strong woman pleaded not guilty Friday to being the driver of a getaway Jeep during an armed robbery Dec. 21, 2010, at the Big Apple on Farmington Falls Road in Farmington.
Marcia Tracy, 27, pleaded not guilty to a felony robbery charge in Franklin County Superior Court.
Tracy and co-defendant Miguel Visuano III, 26, of Farmington were indicted on one count each of robbery on May 12.
Visuano is accused of going into the Big Apple at about 5:52 p.m. Dec. 21 and robbing the store while wielding a small bat that had a chain attached to the end of it, a Farmington police affidavit said. Visuano is accused of running out of the store with money and two cartons of cigarettes.
Tracy, who was initially arrested in March, is accused of driving the getaway vehicle, according to the affidavit.
Tracy’s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 4.
Visuano is expected to be arraigned on the robbery charge in June.
