PORTLAND — The wedding of Tracy Breau and Joseph King was held at 5 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth. Denise Leifester, Godmother of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. King is the daughter of Richard and Trudy Breau of Lewiston. Mr. King is the son of Joan King and the late Lawrence King of Dalton, Mass., and Naples, Fla.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a custom made gown with V-neckline, fitted bodice and A-line skirt made of tiers of ivory silk taffeta. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of hydrangea, roses and Calla lilies.

A sister of the bride, Tiffany Breau-Metivier, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christine (Biron) Hilditch and Kathleen Costello, friends of the bride.

Serving as best man for his friend was Arthur Sanders. Ushers were Shawn Garvey and Brad Sweeney, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Portland Country Club, after which the couple traveled to Bermuda. They are residing in Charlestown, Mass.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 1996 graduate of St. Michael’s College with a degree in psychology. She is self-employed as a behavioral therapist for children with autism.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Wahconah High School in Dalton, Mass., and a 1993 graduate of St. Michael’s College with a degree in political science. He is a sales executive with Cigna Group Insurance in Newton, Mass.
