LEWISTON — Thanks to the special magic of generous donors, Mr. and Mrs. Dolard and Priscilla Gendron, Magic YWorld at the YWCA of Central Maine on East Avenue is afloat again with thrills, spills, splashes and fun for every age. The Y hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Magic Y World on May 7.
All the way from New Zealand and with state-of-the-art technology, the YWCA launches its obstacle course Magic YWorld for families, children, teens and corporate parties. This course enchants the most competitive of athletes and creates smiles and laughter for families and little ones alike. The unique obstacle course floats are a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience in our region and can be experienced only at the YWCA of Central Maine during Magic YWorld at scheduled times or as a private party booked through the YWCA.
Magic YWorld helps generate important revenue to keep the 130-year-old organization open to the public for generations to come. Magic YWorld will be open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and can be booked for private splash parties, birthday parties and corporate events. To learn more or to donate to the Funding for the Future Campaign, contact the YWCA at 795-4050. Visit the Y on Facebook or at www.ywcamaine.org.
