Eight local plant nurseries have banded together to share the bounty of July’s gardens. The third annual Country Garden Tea and Tour will be held Friday, July 8, through Monday, July 11. Participants will wander the display gardens at some of central Maine’s finest specialty plant nurseries, sample a variety of teas, shop for plants and enter daily door prize drawings. Tea and Tour hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.

Also part of the tour is Rise & Shine Bed & Breakfast in Monmouth, offering afternoon tea, discounted accommodations and gardens. Additionally, three private gardens will be open exclusively to Tea & Tour participants.
