Shelter benefit
INDUSTRY — The Franklin County Animal Shelter will hold a benefit spaghetti supper on Friday, July 15, at the Industry Town Hall. The meal will include salad, garlic bread, Lee Ireland’s famous sauce, meatballs, drinks and dessert. Adults $6, children $4, children under 5 free.

OQUOSSOC — David Tibbetts, noted watercolorist, will sign copies of his new book, “A Journey on the End of a Fly Rod,” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Rangeley’s Outdoor Sporting Heritage Museum. In the nearly 60 paintings and dozen poems Dave shares his lifetime love affair with fly fishing and this region. Also on display and available will be three of the original paintings included in the book.
