LEEDS — Occupational Medical Consulting LLC is marking its 15th anniversary this summer, providing occupational health and workplace wellness services to businesses and organizations from Maine to Florida.

The Leeds company is considered a national leader in behavior change wellness programs that document healthier behaviors, reduced medical claims and improved workforce productivity. OMC recently won the highest platinum award for its own employee wellness program from the Wellness Council of America. Several OMC clients have also won this award, signaling the best workplace wellness programs in the nation.

OMC’s Wellness Works program was developed by Dr. Catlett with Pittsfield-based heavy construction company Cianbro. This collaboration won the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine’s Health Achievement Award in 2004. Dr. Catlett founded OMC in 1996, and the health and wellness company has grown steadily since.

Besides offering its workplace wellness and occupational health programs to businesses, OMC also leases its proprietary software, the Wellness Works Tracking System, to health providers across the country interested in developing, administering, implementing and tracking a successful wellness program.
