LEWISTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Monique Crawford and James Trytek, both of Lewiston.

Miss Crawford is the daughter of Joline Crawford of Peru and the late Robert Crawford. She is a graduate of Dirigo High School and St. Joseph’s College in Maine. She is currently employed as an RN clinical research coordinator at Maine Research Associates.

Mr. Trytek is the son of Thomas and Brenda Trytek of Harpswell. He is a graduate of Lewiston High School and Syracuse University. He is currently employed as a clinical research coordinator at Maine Research Associates. The couple has a daughter.

An August wedding is planned.
