AUBURN — Donna H.M. Durgin, 54, formerly of Baron Avenue, Lewiston, died Monday, July 18, at Hospice House of Androscoggin after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 19, 1956, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Martha Thibault Durgin. She was a graduate of St. Dom’s class of 1975. She then entered the U.S. Navy until 1978.
Donna worked at various restaurants including, Village Inn, Rolandeau’s and Black Bull Steak House. She also worked at Pineland Lumber, Hebert’s Construction and most recently at Lowe’s in Auburn as a sales associate. She loved NASCAR racing and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon, she also loved the Red Sox and was special fan of David Ortiz, and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.
She is survived by two brothers, Kevin B. Durgin of Lewiston and Nathan L. Durgin of Florida; a sister, Cindy M. Gosselin and her husband, Roy, of Lewiston; and several cousins.
