The fourth annual reunion of the Webber Administration Auburn city government 1907-08 was held yesterday afternoon at True’s Pine Lodge Camp on the shores of Lake Auburn. Nearly all members of the city government for that year and a number of invited guests spent a most enjoyable afternoon and evening. It was pronounced the best success of any of the reunions which the city government has held. A shoot was held which was followed by a baseball game which was the crowning event of the whole affair.

Lewiston’s parking meter posts are being repainted this summer and for LPD maintenance man Lucien Lavoie, it’s 475 down and about 35 more to go.
The meter posts are painted annually to preserve them and also to provide a neater appearance.
Lavoie said the entire program will consume only about three gallons of paint.

FARMINGTON — It was hot and humid on Friday, with an occasional brisk breeze that cooled the many patrons of the Art in the Park and Photography Show, St. Luke’s Fair and Lobster Festival, part of the annual Moonlight Madness.
Sponsored by Farmington’s Downtown Business and Professional Association, late afternoon and evening events included a road race, bench press-a-thon, firemen’s chicken barbecue and the many sales the merchants arranged for this annual summer event.
