LEWISTON — Fabula D. Chartier, 77, of Rosedale Street, Lewiston, died following a long illness early Saturday morning, July 30, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born in Madawaska on Nov. 16, 1933, the daughter of Alphonse and Gertrude (Bouchard) Cyr.

Fabula met and married the love of her life, Robert Chartier, whom she married in 1952, and together raised their family which was both Robert and Fabula’s greatest accomplishment in life.

She also enjoyed going camping with her family and was a wonderful cook.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Chartier, of Lewiston; four sons, Marc and his wife, Kelley, of Turner, Gary and his wife, Billie, of Lewiston, Neal and his companion, Amy Filion, of Auburn, and Ronald and his wife, Amy, of Lewiston; one daughter, Jean Desjardins and her husband, Daniel, of Lewiston; one brother, Rodrick Cyr and his wife, Cecile, of Lewiston; one sister, Mona Bolduc, of Auburn; and eight grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Rena Cote.
