LEWISTON — Georgette Boynton, 81, of Auburn, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center July 30.
She was born Feb. 5, 1930, in Westbrook, a daughter of the late Clarence and Laura (LaBrecque) Snow.
Georgette graduated from Westbrook High School in 1949. She established her own business as a hair dresser which she operated for 27 years. Georgette also co-owned a very successful business, G&L Miniatures, with her late husband after starting as a hobby, where they designed and manufactured award winning doll houses, furniture and curios.
She enjoyed hiking, camping, antiquing, the ocean, and family gatherings at the pool. While in their late 60s, Georgette and her late husband, completely gutted and remodeled a two-story home in Lisbon.
Georgette is survived by her four children, Alan and Barbara Tucker of Montgomery, Ala., Gary and Mary Ellen Tucker, of South Thomaston, James Tucker and Heidi Crute, of Cushing,  and Lisa and Matthew Giffin, of Lisbon; grandchildren, Andrea Warren, Eric Tucker, Laura Tucker, Connor Morton, Michael Tucker, Mitchell Tucker, MacKenzie Tucker, Jeremy Tucker, Jyl Tucker, Jennifer Tucker, Jay Tucker, Spenser Edgecomb, Jared Edgecomb and Jasmine Giffin; and great-grandchildren, Gage, Braydon and Sarah Warren, Macie, Tessa and Marshal Tucker.  
She was predeceased by her husband, Larry V. Boynton.
