NORWAY — A Waterford man was charged with operating under the influence Wednesday after rolling his truck on Watson Road.
Glen Merrill, 51, of Waterford was charged after Cpl. Holli Pullen of the Norway Police Department administered a Breathalyzer test. Merrill blew a 0.28 blood-alcohol level, more than three times the legal threshold, Pullen said. She added that Merrill admitted to drinking but denied he was drunk.
His truck, a Ford pickup, was damaged beyond repair in the crash, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m. The truck rolled over and landed on its wheels, Pullen said.
Pullen said Merrill refused medical treatment and was taken to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.
