AUBURN — Constance Thomsen, 66, of 34 Rubellite Lane died unexpectedly at her residence on Friday, Aug. 5.

She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., on Dec. 30, 1944, the daughter of Michael and Constance (Krug) Poulos, and had been a resident of this community for the past six years. She was born and raised in New York, where she grew up, got married and raised her family.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who were the “loves of her life,” playing board games with them, and attending their academic and sporting events. One of her favorite pastimes was playing mahjong with her friends in the community where she lived.

She is survived by one son, Stephen Thomsen and his wife, Dolaina, of New York; one daughter, Deborah Rotolico and her husband, Anthony, of Minot; three sisters, Kathleen Longhitano and her husband, Alfred, Deborah Poulos and her husband, Chas Cancellare, and Georgia Fortgang, all of New York; four grandchildren, Paige and Carly Thomsen and TJ and Tia Rotolico; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Ragamuffin, whom she loved dearly.
