AUBURN — Mechanics Savings Bank is looking for original photographs that capture the beauty of the local community in its Moving Places and Spaces photo contest. Up to 13 photos will be selected to appear in the 2012 Mechanics Savings Bank calendar.

Contestants can submit as many as four original photos of local nature scenes, towns, villages or cities located in the Mechanics Savings Bank communities of Androscoggin and Cumberland counties. Photographs containing people or pets will not be considered.

All photographers who submit one or more pictures will be entered once into a drawing for a $100 cash prize. Each photographer with one or more of their photos selected for the calendar will also be awarded $100. For a complete list of contest rules, visit www.mechanicssavings.com. 

All photos must be submitted in digital format by email to [email protected]. Photos must be submitted with the photographer’s name, address, phone number, email and the location of each photo in the body of the email. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Sept. 30.
