DIXFIELD — Raymond and Joette Carlton of Dixfield are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Carlton, to Chad Pierce, son of Ed Pierce and Nannell Williamson of Stillmore, Ga.
Miss Carlton is a graduate of Dirigo High School and the University of Maine in Farmington. She completed graduate school at Georgia Southern University, earning degrees as a master of education and education specialist in school psychology. She is currently employed as a school psychologist.
Mr. Pierce is a graduate of Emanuel County Institute in Twin City, Ga. He is currently employed as a project manager for Welding Technologies a division of Riley Power.
The wedding will be held Oct. 8 in Savannah, Ga.
