NORWAY — After a period of failing health, Dorothy (Grant) Reid, formerly of Abington and Pembroke, Mass., passed away at the age of 92, on Aug. 13.

Dorothy was born on Christmas Day in 1918, the daughter of Merton and Bessie (Oliver) Grant in Weymouth, Mass. She graduated from Weymouth High School and had been married to the late Albert C. Reid.

She leaves three children, her daughter, Janet Pomerleau, with whom she resided for the past 15 years in Buckfield; her son, Albert G. Reid of Pembroke, Mass.; and her son, Curtis and his wife, Nancy Reid, of Abington, Mass.; a brother, Merton R. Grant of Meredith, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late B. Virginia (Grant) Wright.
