RUMFORD — The Rumford Senior Citizens have made some changes in their schedule. Starting Aug. 17, bingo is now held on Wednesdays. The usual start time of 12:30 p.m. will continue and the end time will be 2 p.m. Board meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. The regular meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday at 10 a.m.

There will be an indoor yard and food sale on Saturday, Sept. 17. Donations for the food and sales tables would be appreciated. There are tables for rent at $10 per table. Call 364-4700 to reserve a spot.

Upcoming trips are:

Sept. 8: The shopping trip to the Portland Mall will leave the center at 8:30 a.m.

Sept. 9: The bus to Hollywood Slots will leave the center at 8 a.m. and will leave Bangor at 4 p.m. The cost is $25.

Sept. 21: The bus for the mystery trip will leave the center at 9:30 a.m. Dinner is included at the price of $40. Lunch is not provided.

Oct. 4: There is a sign up charge of $10 for the trip to the Fryeburg Fair, which will be returned to members when they enter the bus. The bus will leave the center at 9:15 a.m.

Plans are in the works for the November trip and the Christmas party.
