LIVERMORE FALLS — Before anyone had a chance to drive a vehicle Monday for a donation, the Spruce Mountain Sports Bleacher fund received a boost from a Jay man.
Normand Dube donated $1,000 toward Bailey Brothers Ford Drive One 4Ur School program, according to the dealership’s Facebook page.
The money will help toward the goal of raising $8,000 for the Spruce Mountain High School.
For every person who takes a free test drive between 2 and 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Griffin Field in Livermore Falls, Bailey Brothers Ford and Ford Motor Co. will donate $20 to $30 to the bleacher fund.
To test drive a vehicle one must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license.
