DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Police Department responded to 57 incidents from Aug. 18 to Sept. 6.
Among the incidents since Aug. 18 were:
Theft
* On Aug. 18, a camp owner on Valley Road reported several items taken from the property. Items were believed to be taken between Aug. 13 and Aug. 18. Items taken included one cord of split firewood, Murray lawn mower, splitting axe, and three cans of gasoline. Estimated value was $430.
* On Aug. 20, a resident from South China reported a glass smoking pipe was stolen from his display case at a yard sale. Estimated value was $45.
* On Aug. 28 at 1:30 a.m., a Howard Street resident reported items taken from the property. Items were a set of white spoke truck rims, grand prix tires, 2 custom rims, and 2 speciality tires. Estimated value was $741
Accidents
* On Aug. 21 at 6 p.m., Dixfield resident Kimberly St. Germain was driving a 2003 Chevy truck when a deer darted into the roadway and hit her rear fender. The deer had to be dispatched. Estimated damage was $50
Arrests
* Ramone Rodriguez, 86, transient, was charged with littering at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 26 on Route 2. Rodriguez had set up a camp along Route 2 and was asked by Sgt. Jeffery Howe to move and to clean up his campsite. On return Sgt. Howe discovered Rodriguez had pushed his garbage into the Androscoggin River. Rodriguez was summonsed and released.
* Christa Money, 22, of Dixfield, was charged with operating after suspension on her drivers license at 12:45 a.m. on Aug. 28 on Main Street by officer Eric Bernier. Money was summonsed and released.
* Shane Richard, 26, of Dixfield, was charged with attaching false plates on Aug. 31 at 9 p.m. on Weld Street by officer Eric Bernier. Richards was transported to Oxford County jail without incident.
* Kimberly Money, 28, of Dixfield, was charged with violation of conditions of release for alcohol consumption on Sept. 4 at 1 a.m. at a sobriety check point on Weld Street by officer Eric Bernier. Money was transported to Oxford County jail without incident.
