WEST PARIS — The West Paris Library invites the public to a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, for a new art exhibit, “Through My Kitchen Window: The Art of Fay Holt.”

Fay Helena Morgan Holt, a Greenwood City native, was a self-taught artist who vividly captured the charm and colors of the area surrounding her home in Greenwood. The exhibit offers the public an opportunity to celebrate both Holt’s artistry and rural Maine as seen through the eyes of a woman whose life was deeply planted here.

The exhibit will be on display until the end of December. Additional information about the reception and the exhibit is available at the library or by calling the librarian at 674-2004.

The West Paris Library, at 226 Main St., is open Monday and Friday from 1:30 to 6 p.m., on Wednesday from 1:30 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call the librarian at 674-2004 or visit westparislibrary.org.
