PORTLAND — John S. Russell, 47, of Norway passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Calais, to Isaac and Mary (Cawley) Russell on Aug. 3, 1964. John was owner and operator of Russell & Sons Towing.

He is survived by his wife, Shari Russell of 11 years; children, Jonathan Russell and wife, Sarah, Joshua Russell and Jordan Russell; stepson, Jason Dodge; his parents, Isaac and Mary Russell; and granddaughter, Anya Russell.

He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Russell.
