AUBURN — Clarence “Clay” W. Coupe of Lewiston, beloved husband of Eleanor Marie (Callahan) Coupe, died Nov. 6, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.
He was born in Fall River, Mass., Feb. 16, 1921, the son of the late William and Hortense (Silvia) Coupe. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II.
Clay was a Radiology Technician at Melrose Wakefield Hospital prior to being an Administrative Technician at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Lewiston for 18 years.
He was also past president of the Massachusetts Radiologist Society. He enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and most of all his family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Richard and his wife, Donna, Janet and her companion, Pat and Douglas and his wife, Melinda; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
