James G. Merry Building Movers of Scarborough removed two 80-foot girders from the site of the Gingerbread House on Main Street in Norway. The company moved the building 950 feet farther west on the street in June. James Merry, left, and his son Steve check the girders before they were pulled off the site. A private group is raising funds to restore the building.
