FARMINGTON — The Farmington Historical Society will hold its 7th Annual Holiday Wreath Sale on Saturdays, Nov. 26,  and Dec. 3, at the Titcomb House on Academy Street.

Society members with some help from the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity at the University of Maine Farmington have been decorating the hundreds of wreaths that will go on sale.

Fresh and double sided, the balsam wreaths are decorated with six-loop bows, cones and berries. Bow color choices are red, country red and burgundy. Also available are 36-inch barn wreaths with a red or country red bow. Shipping for the standard 24-inch wreath is available in the continental U.S. for $15 each.

Chester Greenwood Day is celebrated in Farmington on Dec. 3. Along with a parade and other activities, the Titcomb House Museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All proceeds support the Farmington Historical Society’s mission of preserving Farmington’s history and maintenance of the Titcomb House and North Church.

Wreaths may be ordered and information obtained by calling 778-4275.
