LEWISTON — Mark R. Champagne 49, a resident of Sabattus Street, Lewiston, died Saturday, Dec. 3, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lewiston April 9, 1962, the son of Orean and Muriel Caron Champagne.

Mark was the proud owner of Anytime Towing here in Lewiston, which he established in 1989. Besides his family, his passion was his towing business. His personal nature matched his business nature, which was willing and ready to serve anyone at “Anytime.”

His pride and joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, his four-wheeler, and fishing. He was also a collector of toy tow trucks.

Survivors include his father, Orean Champagne, and his stepmother, Claudette, of Lewiston; his loving wife, Carleen Champagne of Lewiston; two daughters, Melissa Bisson and her husband, Dan, Adrianne Mercier and her husband, Tim, all of Lewiston; two brothers, Rene Champagne and wife, Janine, Paul Champagne and wife, Lynn, all of Auburn; one stepbrother, Rick Ring and wife, Debbie, of Westbrook; two sisters, Janine Pelchat and husband, Bob, Anne Levesque and husband, Bob, all of Lewiston; one stepsister, Kristy Eccles and husband, Rick, of Lewiston; two grandsons, Deagan and Gavin Bisson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, as well many close friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Muriel; and a stepsister, Kathy Theberge.
